repair_settings.php question

Installed and ran repair_settings.php on my forum and have the screen shot of the Paths & URLs section.  Is it the norm that the directories and suggested directories are identical?  I can attach a screen shot if it's safe to do so? The screen shot is limited to just the Paths & URL section.

If the actual and recommended paths are different, the recommended value will be applied when you 'Update all Paths & URLs' and 'Save Settings'.  If your $db_server setting in Settings.php is a server address, it will be reset to 'localhost' and you will lose db connection.  You have to reset the setting manually to fix it.
