Unable to login in upgrade

i am trying to upgrade smf 2.0.15 to 2.1 beta 3 and dont know why i am unable to upgrade. i am entering all details correct. Still no sign of any error, keeps loading same page.
Please help urgent!

tried another pass and it shows incorrect password. Turned off website admin and pass too but still unable to go beyond login page of upgrade utility.

why are you trying to upgrade? we dont recommend upgrading at this time due to SMF 2.1 being in beta.

there are few great features in 2.1 which i would like to have. And hence decided to move to 2.1.

I hope you are not trying to upgrade your production site, especially without having thorough backups.
Beta versions are not meant for production sites.

yeah! thank god i did a backup. Restored my site successfully. Also took help from @gecitli who helped to configure like button. Only if i have SCEditor, i do not need to upgrade my forum now. Is there anything like it?

Also i will mark it solved as i am sticking to 2.0.15. Thanks Illori and aleksi for your support. will be waiting for stable one to release and few mods as well.

I'm not too familiar with the differences between wysiwyg -editors, as I personally prefer manual labor over automatic thingamajigs - But is there something in particular that the 2.0 wysiwyg editor isn't doing properly already?

it does not much right these days, we dont recommend using at all.
