Unexpected files in avatars & attachment directories

Hello. As the title says. Seems to be generated regularly. Makes no problems, am just deleting them.
But explanation \ cause ? See attachments.

The .tmp files you can safely removed. Occurs if an error on image upload processing occurs such as bad file.

They are all so big, that I'd guess probably the upload was disrupted by some server side limit - you may want to look at your server's error logs for clues on what limit, or lower the attachment size settings on your forum.
