Hi, Not sure when but I think my forum suffered a security breach and some bitcoin miner code added to the files and the admin email address changed. I think I have captured most of the changes but what's the best / easiest way to to ensure I have removed any security holes / patches.

I'm guessing fresh install of the software but just a little reluctant to do that before I understand that settings / config will be retained etc.

Is it as simple as copy over a fresh install of the files and using repair_settings to reset database info etc ?

Any guidance / comments appreciated.
