Can Not Access Admin Panel
« on: April 16, 2018, 04:12:41 PM »
I can not access the Admin panel of my forum, I can access the Mod area.

I'm running 2.0.15 and today I installed a mod called 'Dream Portal'. It came up in a search on the SMF Modification page as compatible with 2.0.15.
However immediately following the installation every time I try to access the Admin control panel I get a blank screen with 'Hacking attempt...' in the upper left corner.

Is there a way to remove a Modification other than from the uninstall in the Admin panel?
Maybe a 'safe mode' for the Admin panel?
I'd really hate to have to  reload the entire forum software and lose all the customization I've done.

Hi Kestryll,

Did you take a backup before installing the modification?

If not check your Packages/backup folder and find the file before it.

Hot damn I DO have a backup named 'before Dream_Portal!

How would I use this back up to fix mt problem? I'm hoping the option to restore from back up is not in the Admin panel.
