SSL problems! 2.0.15

I am having a number of problems trying to go to SSL.
I am following this link:

After running repair_settings.php, I ran the forum and it told me there was a security problem and to delete the repair_settings.php file.
I did delete it but the warning still comes up.

The next problem is that after enabling SSL, I cannot log out of the forum at all. There's an error when trying to log out.

Is the above link the correct way to update to SSL and how can I get rid of the warning?

Thanks guys. Will try again. Yes of course I cleared cache. I also deleted all cookies, ran different browsers as well.
