Deleting the My Messages from forum

I would be very grateful if anyone can tell me how to delete the My Messages function on my forum.

I've looked at the Online Manual  but found nothing.

even if you remove it from the menu, that will not stop users from sending/receiving messages if the permissions are still in place.

turn off the permissions to access the personal messages section

as a result if the user gets an email notification about that, it will include a link to it in that email.
