Mobile links showing on desktop SMF 2.1 Beta 3

I am creating a new theme for my site, installed smf yesterday so it is upto date. Have only been editing css and dont understand how this is happening and I did not notice it happening till way after, does anyone have any advice?

If you're using Beta 3 then you're not up to date. Latest version can be found here: https://github.com/SimpleMachines/SMF2.1

You are using the beta version so there are still bugs. Also don't forget that you'll need to update your css files with other changes that are still being made, if you're making a theme for beta.
