ThemeStrings characters issue

Hello,

I'm working on a theme and I decided to add french translation for the text I added, it however seems to be having issues,
the default french package shows characters normally, but the ThemeStrings.french.php is not

example:
From ThemeStrings : THèME
From default language files: THÈME

ISO-8859-1

Searched the forum didn't find anything, and I've never translated before

That's because you've saved your file as UTF-8 but it's being interpreted as ISO-8859-1 (where it's a different character).

Tell your editor not to save it as UTF-8.
