Just changed the database name in MySQL ...(because i couldnt remember old one) now i cant get on to my forum...help!

Dzonny

Where exactly you changed your database name?
You should use repair_settings.php file to fix your database login info.
What is repair_settings.php?

Shambles

Or change the "$db_name = " line in your Settings.php

And please try to give your topic titles more descriptive content. Some of your recent ones include:

- Whoops
- SSL
- Image
- Not updated
- woops
- messed up
- slow
- Feed
- width
- Tranfering

All done...many thanks!!!!

Steve

Just an FYI ... topic titles like 'Whoops' or 'Help' are often skipped by the team because they're scanning topic titles to find ones they know they can help in. 'Changed database name, can't get into forum' or something similar would be better.

Just for future reference. :)
DO NOT pm me for support!
