spaces between lines

Why is it so hard here to put spaces between lines?

I need to put 2 to work 1.

because that's how < br > works.

it is working exactly as intended and as spec'd

< br > puts an end of line... the ex picks up on the next line.  If you want a wider line break, then you need to either add padding to the br in css or you need to use < p > -- since SMF will always use br inside a post, the CSS route is your best choice - but it won't change here... obviously

I post here, i tape on enter to have space, and the space is removed after submiting the post at the display. (here on the forum of the smf site)

Honestly can't reproduce it. One enter is new line right below the previous line, two enters is a white line. Works as intended here?
In fact, with the other editor I even get an extra white line

You have your problem in all browsers?

No, only with firefox (62)

but i have too the two lines spaces instead of one (like you)with the others (chrome or edge)
