Registration e-mail text about problems

I've registered today on this forum and received e-mail with this text:

Should you have any problems with activation, please visit https://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?action=activate;u=123456 use the code "the code".

which makes no sense to me. Should not that sentence say this instead?

Both are acceptable and both mean and say the same thing.
