Problem in SMF installation

While i was asking for the right hosting account in my other topic, but meanwhile i tried to test the SMF forum on a domain which is not active. I mean I am not using that domain just a coming soon page was there on the domain. I installed the SMF forum script from the marketplace of fatcow where i hosted that domain.

after complete installation, i tried to login but it says the password is wrong. I deleted the installation and installed the forum again and copy pasted the password. But again when I try to login from admin account, it says wrong password. i am 200% sure that password is correct.

There might be some problem with the installation. Can anyone suggest what would be the problem?

2.1 0r 2.0? Are you using a host installer or the install package?

Thank you for asking, but I had found the solution from another thread. I searched on Google and someone already has asked the same question. Then I installed the SMF forum on that from the FTP by uploading the files.

Before that, I was doing that from the hosting account.
