So anyway, weird issue, when users type messages into the smfpacks shoutbox it appears the shoutbox just eats the message. Meaning, they type it in and it never appears. Very intermittent

Any ideas?

You're best to contact SMFPacks about that, authors are responsible for supporting their own mods.

If you aren't using the paid version, you can largely expect no support. If you are using the paid version, get support at their site, smfpacks.com.
