Unable to install theme: Session verification failed

I think I've turned this great forum upside down by now, finding lots of references to "Session verification failed" errors. None of them seem to fix my issue.

Running SMF 2.0.15 with PHP 5.6 on Apache 2.4.10 with MySQL 5.7

When I try to install a new theme via the admin it constantly gives me "An Error Has Occurred! Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in again, and then try again." Nothing comes up in the error log.

I've switched 'database driven sessions' off and back on, same issue with either setting. Although setting this also gives me the "Session verification failed" error but the change does stick. Tried various other options, reverted back to the default theme while uploading, removed cookies, etc etc.

Are you sure you're running 2.0.15?

It's just that your SMF copyright notice seems to be hidden.

With your copyright removed, you are not very likely to receive support on the forum.

That's a fair point, I wasn't aware of that. This theme is made by users of the forum. Let me see how I can restore the copyright notice.
