BBC tags and smilies stopped working

My BBC tags stopped working when I'm on MS Edge.  (Seems this happened after a Windows update)  When I start a new post, or reply to a post, nothing shows up when I click on any of the formatting or smiley buttons (like [b ][/b ] , [img ][/img ] or  .

Has this happened to anyone else?  Any fixes other than using a different browser?

check that you don't have javascript disabled...
