Convert.php needs modifications to work on php7 as it uses the built in php mysql_ not the smcFunc one.

It does. I think I made some changes.
I did run that convert.php on PHP 7.1 when I did my testing.

Apologies I saw the one in convert_result, which you don't seem to be using now.

I'm trying to convert mybb 1.8.19 with wamp but for now I have two problems:
1. SQL_MAX_JOIN_SIZE error fixed following this;
2. Field 'message_labels' doesn't have a default value!


There is a way to solve the 2 problem?

PS. is not for the 1.4 version as it is written right?

OK, I applied this to solve the second problem but now I have many errors and the conversion crashes.
I'm using PHP 7.1.22

For the convertor grab the latest from https://github.com/SimpleMachines/converters/tree/master/SMF2.0/MyBB/1.8  that should fix all the issues in your first post.

I downloaded the new version from github, but I always have the error "Converting members...Field 'message_labels' doesn't have a default value" 
I'm using SMF 2.0.15 and MyBB 1.8.19

Change your smf_members table in phpmyadmin the column of "message_labels" to have a default value of "" an empty string

No check the database structure of the table make sure it allows null and or has a default value set.

Conversion completed without errors 

I noticed three problems after the conversion:
1. Wrong ip addresses, mybb has changed something in the latest versions

2. Quote links do not work

3. Many bbcodes are not converted, as align, but this is not important and can be changed from phpmyadmin
