Pol - preventing replies?
« on: February 09, 2019, 12:38:03 PM »
I want to run a poll (that's easy!) BUT to not permit any follow-up posts - locking seems to prevent access to the poll itself.

Any ideas please?

Thanks

Rob

I don't think there is any option to do that, out of the box.... and I don't recall any mods to allow it either.
Please do not PM, IM or Email me with support questions.  You will get better and faster responses in the support boards.  Thank you.

Give the board you post the poll in a read only profile.

Poll, topic locked - poll open:

https://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=564966.0

Doesn't work?

Just note, there are two different buttons: "Lock voting" and "Lock topic".
