For example - the board has 3 topics marked as "new". When I open that board, it is marked as read right away, even though I didn't open any of the new topics.

Can this behavior be adjusted in the forum settings so that boards are marked as read ONLY if user actually opens all the "new" topics?

Thanks!

From performance/run time pov would this hit a like a truck,
when you plane more than ~10 topic(ironie) in a board you shouldn't think about this.

Has this changed from 2.0? I mean, doesn't sound familiar. If I enter a board, it certainly doesn't drop topics from my recent lists.

The board icon is definitely changed, but this is exactly the same as it has been forever.

Oh, right - I actually pay very little attention to that detail.
