different time displayed when logged in / out

When logged in users see the correct local time.

however when logged out there is a -5 hour display

So, your server is 5 hours ahead of your own timezone?

Have you
1- set the server timezone?
2- set the time offset BASED ON the server timezone (in other words, your offset would be your server time +/1 hours to match your time
3- Set your personal timezone in your user profile?

okay, I figured it out... sorry for the post...

the server is located in America/Los Angeles but it's time is set to UTC. my timezone is -5, I set the server location to UTC and now all is good...
