Hi there,

in order to prevent more spammers, I have decided to activate the option of verification questions.

I had the letter captcha already active. Tien I added three questions.

And hit save.

Yet, the captcha still appears but the questions do not.

I opened it in three different browsers and deleted the cache.

So what now?

did you set the number of required questions to be answered? if not then it will never prompt the questions to be shown.

Well, this baffles me. I do not see any option to set this.

In my SMF Version (2.0.15) it says (I am using the German version) something along the lines of:

"Here, you can set which anti-spam function will be used for verification. Note, a user will have to go through ALL functions in order to proceed."

I interpreted this as, as soon as there is a queston filled out, the user has to answer them.

So, where do I have to set the amount of questions?

And why is this so hidden (apparently)?

it is on the same page as where you fill in the questions. it should be above the questions.

OH DAAAAAMN!

It is! Thanx!

But with all due respect: Why ist this under the option of the captcha????

This is ridiculous! Nobody takes a closer look there since this area refers to the captcha and NOT the questions.

In my opinion, this is the wrong place to put this...

Thanx again - and maybe this can be changed in new versions...

Cheers!

Pretty sure this is moved in 2.1 to somewhere more obvious.
