Question re: RC1 -> RC2

I was wondering if someone could provide more details as to what happens when you go from RC1 to RC2. The upgrading page states "This archive will upgrade/reset your forum to a clean install of the latest version and will remove all modifications.". Depending on how one interprets that, it's not much of an "upgrade".

I have no problem uninstalling and re-installing my few mods, and the theme. But what else gets lost? Users? Settings? Posts? Just how hard of a "reset" are we talking here?

just mods get removed.

It is the same as the upgrade from 2.0 to 2.1 if you have done that. Just files/mods are gone.

And if you're using a custom theme, it may not work properly, you'd have to check the theme's download page to see if the author has updated it for the new version. And then again it may work.
