Making it better for mobile, sure, but the noindex is important for SEO.

Except that page already has a canonical tag...  So Search Engines should index the primary page, not the printpage page

and honestly, I don't think we care about printpage being good for mobile, since the reason to printpage is to PRINT...  to a printer, not to a mobile.
