For some reason, I've had issues with the attachment directory with every upgrade for a couple of years now.  I have no idea why -it tells me the size of the directory, and how many images are in it but will still tell me it doesn't exist.

Finally, after hours of working on it, it will be "fixed" somehow...but I'll probably have to go through a whole laundry list of different attempts to "fix" it again next time.
