Allow guests to view the boards on index, but disallow them to view topics?

Instead of hiding entire boards from Guests, is it possible to show them the boards on the index page, but not the topics/content inside of it?

I have tried those and other outdated mods, but in my SMF 2.0.15 installation they all cause bugs.

I don't think there are any current mods, partly because it actually discourages guests and partly it limits search engines coming to your site.
