I ran the upgrade for my site.  The PHP files are 2.0.15 but the database is still 2.0.14.

When I run upgrade.php I get one of two results:

1. Upgrade.php fails and I get the following error message:

Lainaa!!
Error!
Unknown Error!

2. The Upgrade.php starts.  It says 14% done and .03% complete.  It sticks there.  Let it sit for 12 hours.  No change so I stopped the script.

3. Either way, the maintenance mode locks the board.   Consequently, I abandoned the upgrade and hosed the whole board and restored the backup from the day before.  I did not have to restore the database because upgrade.php did not change it.

I'm on a Godaddy shared hosting plan.

I sure would appreciate some ideas.  I'm clueless at this point.

Thanks, Marshall

Illori

it does not matter that your database is 2.0.14. if you are getting an error message post that message. you dont need to upgrade your database further.

Sir Osis of Liver

If you're running in 2.0.14, upgrade to 2.0.15 in package manager, don't use upgrade.php.  It's not necessary, there were no database changes from .14 to .15.  Strange things can happen on GoDaddy. :P

When in Emor, do as the Snamors.
