Error Message: AN ERROR HAS OCCURRED Cannot access attachments upload path!

I moved my forum from one host to another. As far as I can tell, everything is working properly

except attachments.  So far I have:

• checked the file paths and they appear to be correct (/home1/manasota/public_html/forum
• checked the file permissions all appear to be set correctly
• cleared the browser cache
• uploaded and checked and then deleted repair_settings.php
• all the usual, log out, clear browser cache, etc.
• contacted host - they opened a ticket after the first-line cs couldn't fix it.
• PHP 7.0.33

But I would like to get a handle on what the problem is if anyone has any ideas.

what is the the path to your sources folder when using repair_settings.php?

the path to the attachments folder should be similar, but instead of ending with Sources, it should end with attachments.

to me the path you posted is NOT correct as it does not end with attachments.

sources: /home1/manasota/public_html/forum/Sources
cache:   /home1/manasota/public_html/forum/cache

I was just illustrating that I used the full file path, not a url. And in fact the move did it for me, I didn't modify the paths myself, I just checked that they were apparently correct.

Operator Error.  I had NOT set the Attachments path
