Hello everybody! There was an old forum. It has only around 100 posts. Almost forgot it. Years later I found out it's already inactive. Now I downloaded its archive/backup. Where is the text file? I need all these ~100 posts as text in order to repost them in our new forum, because I don't want to lose this content. Tell me please is there something like this like "Themes - Default - etc." where there is only text/content file of the posts?

lurkalot

All the posts (text) are stored in the database.

TheSnake

Where exactly? Can you give me the path like "Themes - Default - a - b - texts"? The base is big and I wish I don't need to check it file by file.

Arantor

Your backup doesn't look to contain the database content (because it's not really a file in the conventional sense)... means you don't have the posts.

TheSnake

Something in the cPanel, an option for finding the posts?

Arantor

You need to go to the phpMyAdmin option which should show you the database, after that you want the table usually called smf_messages.
