hey there... Aww!!!!
I don't know what to say about this forum...
I have once used it las 12-13yrs ago... could not remember!!

I tried it today ; I saw many features... Aww!! Great!
I USE SOFTCULOUS to install it.. but unfortunately.. it's 2.0.15 I ned 2.1 RC2
I downloaded it .. but "upgrADE.PHP" NOT INSIDE BOTH FILES i DOWNLOADED FRO aRCHIVE.

Tell me how to update without losing files and without losing mods.

You cannot upgrade from 2.0 to 2.1 without losing mods, simply not possible.

As for the upgrade.php file, if you go to https://download.simplemachines.org/ and download the large upgrade package under the 2.1 RC2 heading you will get the upgrader package.

Note that RC status means it is not yet final and there will be at least an RC3 which you also won't be able to upgrade to without losing mods.

we really dont recommend anyone use SMF 2.1 in a live environment unless you are ready to help troubleshoot issues.
