New here and struggling

Ive downloaded SMF 2.0.15 and was expecting to get an admin page of sorts where i could make changes to my forum (I used to build ecommerce sites years ago)
Didnt expect to see virtually blank screen and not sure what to do.
Site is notthenoobs dot com

Would appreciate any help to get me on course.

run repair_settings.php to fix your URLs.

What is repair_settings.php?

Hi Alan, thanks for that.
Can I ask you, if I look at the site as notthenoobs.com I get a plain white screen with a bit of text. I need to click on 'forum' to get the proper site.
Is that normal, or have i missed something?

You put the forum in a folder called forum, not in the public_html folder directly.

Move all the files the use repair_settings.php to fix all the paths. What is repair_settings.php?

went to log on and get a timed out message "Your session timed out while posting"
Now I cant logon
