Out of touch

Hello people.
I run a forum: hxxp:lfcsocial.club [nonactive]

Due to a variety of reasons (me being a lazy sod and doing nothing mainly) this forum has developed a few bugs. The main one being question marks where apostrophes should be. Not a big deal but it's getting annoying. I'm on SMF 2.0.9 (I know, I know) and I need to update. However, I'm so far out of the loop that I'm pretty much back to square one when it comes to knowing what to do. Is there any quick fix to upgrade? As in click, click and click again lol?
I'm on a Chromebook if that's any help. Thanks in advance.

First backup everything. In Admin you may see notifications about updates with a link to begin the process, if not you could download and the updates and install... Upgrading - Online Manual
