SMF Point system error

I uploaded the new SMF folder to my FTP

But I cant install it there is something wrong can anyone help

Well, it would help if you actual gave some useful information....

You uploaded smf?
What version?

Did you follow the installation instructions? (We have a user manual linked at the top right of your screen here)

its not working I cant find it in the admin song panel.

You don't upload addons via FTP, you upload them via Package Manager once logged in as an admin.

I tried to do that! and when i upload it via Admin manager it says that i have to uplaod it via FTP

No, it won't, the mod needs an update to work on a version of SMF that isn't 10 years old.

since SMF 2.1 is still in development most mods will not work with it. for that matter we really dont recommend using it in production unless you are ready to make code edits to fix issues you may run into. at this point unless you start over with SMF 2.0.15, you are somewhat stuck where you are now and without most mods.

They're using 2.0 as per screenshot. This is a 2.0 RC3 era mod that will need work to function on 2.0 today.

Not really, no, hence my "the mod hasn't been updated in 10 years and really needs one" comment.

So for now i dont have any option to get this mod works

No, someone needs to rewrite it - in any case it can't just be updated since the original authors have long since gone and the licence is missing so no-one is allowed to 'just pick it up and add to it', so really someone needs to write it from scratch.

which will never happen?? i think its one of the most important mods for a forum how comes its not available in smf

Because it's really not that important. It's so important that since its first release in March 2009, it's had a total of 6500 downloads.

Meanwhile the most popular mod in SMF, from 2006, has had 245,000 - and that's not going in core either.
