Disable Email Address

I'm looking for a code to disable the user to change the email, and the Account Settings.

Do you know if we have this tip? I've version SMF 2.0.15 Installed.

why would you want to do this?   If I had an account and I decided to change ISPs, I would need access to change my email address

Thanks for your answer.

This is because we have another webpage, where we sync with the website email (Different DB), so this is the reason to prevent the user to change the email when he wants, only for that.

Hi @everyone,

I found how to hide the email at the Profile Settings.

At the Profile-Modify.php file, there is at the loadProfileFields function there is an array with the email_adress name that if you hide, it will not display your email at the forum.
