SMF 2.1 RC2 Released

SMF 2.0.17 is the latest production release.
SMF 2.1 RC? are 'release candidates', and are not advised for use on production forums.
If you are already on 2.1 RC2, you will need to wait for 2.1 RC3, as there is no migration path from RC2 => 2.0.17.

Production forums? would that be like big Firms that need total stability and such?

Ehh, kinda.  It refers to the SMF installs which are not test or development sites. Like this one.

Don't hold your breath, you might change color; we had a few roadblocks, but we are moving forward. It will be ready when it's ready. You're experienced in waiting, so... keep doing that!
