table smf_sessions is full

Hi all,
after successful upgrading the forum from 2.0.15 to 2.0.16 and then to 2.0.17 we receive now table smf_sessions is full and login is not possible anymore.

We never had this problem before.

Can you please give me some informations how to solve this problem ?

what is the full error you are getting?

you can always truncate the sessions table, but i think it should be very rare that the table is completely full... i have not seen that error on this forum and we have a large number of members.

There was only a white screen with the message ,,table smf_session is full"
I haven't seen this before. After truncating the table it seems to work, hopefully.

smf_session table is a memory kind table which save the session information,
this kind of table got a size limit based on my.conf settings.
By upgrade from 2.0.x to 2.0.16 or higher,
the user had to login again by this process the amount of entries get roughly doupled -> reason why you run into this issue.

This seems to be the solution for this issue.

After upgrading to 2.0.17 the problem came up and with your help I truncated the table and since them erverything is fine.
