Setting No-Ads in Permissions for specific groups

I am working with Ezoic to manage ads on my forum. We're just starting and things are not great yet.

I ran ads through a plugin previously--but have not for a couple of years because there were issues among plugins.
When I did that I had a setting are in permissions where I could turn off ads for certain member groups. I can not find a permission for this anymore and a not sure how the add a permission option works.
I had a no-ads experience a feature for paying subscribers.

Ezoic is serving ads without a mod.

You would need to have some kind of group level check in php code to display ads or not each time you call the ad to show up.
