I've got SMF 2.0.17  and I am stuck on mods seeing the Mod  forum... [and not members/etc]

I've tried / forums/ modify/ permissions/

Not getting anywhere and Moderators still cannot see the moderators board   ?

What exactly have you tried?

two things...

1- permission to SEE the board is set in the board settings.   Every group who should have access to SEE the board should be checked.
2- permissions to USE the board (read, post, etc) is done through the board permissions profiles.
Set up the correct profile and then apply it back in the board settings
