Just like the title says.  I have New User Registration disabled, but I am still getting occasional spam accounts created on my board.  How is that possible?

Do you have Tapatalk installed?

I did a long time ago.  I think I removed it, but not certain.  How can I verify?

Shambles

See if you actually DID remove it. Check in your package manager installed mods list.

Alternatively, visit <yourforum>/mobiquo/status.php

Tapatalk's default options - which can be changed in your ACP - include allowing Tapatalk members to bypass your registration settings.

I have no packages currently installed.

Make sure by entering <yourforumUrl>/mobiquo/status.php in your browsers address bar

Any obvious errors in your forums error log?

I find it hard to believe you have effectively returned to a vanilla SMF installation. If you think you have no mods installed (and indeed don't require any mods) then why not upload a fresh set of files and be done with it?

Yeah, I keep it pretty vanilla.  Now that I think about it, I have a YouTube embed code installed, and that might be it.

RichieW13

I do have 135 errors logged (I cleared my error log about a week ago).  Most of the errors just say "Unable to find user's e-mail address" from
/forum/index.php?action=emailuser;sa=email;msg=2258
