Parse error

Good evening,

Today I went to my website and got the below message.  I searched the site here and did find one post to something simalar but did not see any solutions.  Being a simple person and not really good with any of the software stuff I did see it is a chache problem. 

So thinking perhaps something is wrong with "modSetting.php. This is when I discovered just how far behind I am on this stuff.  I used to browse my FTP with IE when using XP and win7.  I discovered I can no longer do that with current Windows so downloaded Filezilla in which created another can of worms I have to work out.


So just what does the error message below mean and is there a simple fix? Or perhaps I need to find someone to help?

Delete that file  /home/techmembers/www/smf/cache/data_fb0227dff836a7f01a0b14b7ac404424-SMF-modSettings.php

Known issue with SMF currently that rarely occurs.
