Incorrect string value

Just installed version 2.0.17 and get the following error.

Incorrect string value: '''' for function inet_aton
File: /var/www/html/smf/Sources/Subs.php
Line: 2659

PHP 7.2.24 is installed.

Can this be fixed by me?

Natively, 2.0.x does not support ipv6 - only ipv4.  Ask your host to disable ipv6.

Does a newer version of smf support IPv6?

SMF 2.1 will support ipv6, but it is not released in production yet.  ipv6 is not yet in widespread usage, it is safe to disable it for now.
