The index is not displayed

If I use the utf8 language in Spanish in my forum, the index.php is blank, but if I use iso in Spanish, it works well but does not show tildes, the ut8 in Spanish worked well and one day suddenly the index went blank and only the /index.php, what can it be?

SMF 2.1 is UTF-8 by default. Use the language files for 2.1 RC2
