Hey guys, is there a known issue with the logo not working for SMF v2.0.17 ?
I'm following the FAQ, and I've tried several different images, but none of them will actually show up. I just get a blank icon as shown in attachment.

I've confirmed the directory, and ensured the file shows up in my cPanel file manager.

What am I missing?

I just see the forum title, no image or icon.

Strange. This is the correct process for setting up themes, right?

Yes, you need a complete url (https://crown-sports.com/test_site/..........) to the image.  If you get the missing image icon, right click on it and you can see the url it's trying to use to load the image.

Yes, you need to enter full URL to your logo image.
I see this path for your missing image:

https://crown-sports.com/test_site/Images

But you need to enter path similar to:

Oddly, I see a huge image in IE, but nothing in FF.

I think I may have figured out the issue.

I was using a vector image, which perhaps was either too large or not supported.
I tested a png image, and it actually worked, although it was far too large.

I now understand I need to find a smaller image in the 200x100 range.

What's the best file format to use for a forum logo? [if there is such a thing]

Just resize it, you can keep the original format.

In my forums, I've used images with 800x300 pixels (PNG Format) and they was working without problems.
Resize the image (I use XnView application) before upload it to the server.

I was able to resize the image and get it to show up in the forum. It looked horrible, but that's something I will work on later.

I'm just glad the function is working.

Thanks all

I recommend to use PNG image, these images may have transparent areas.
