sending mail attatchment files

When sending a message to someone i cannot find attatch a file to the mail i want to send

So what i`m after is when sending mail i can also attatch a file with the mail i send, on my version its not displaying attachment to send even though i can mail people.

SMF does not have attachments to PMs as a core feature. Several addons exist, but they're not held in high regard.
