how can i remove message timestamp from last post on index page

i want to remove the "on May 16, 2020, 06:36:36 AM" to reduce the number of lines of text from my message board index page
and simplify the look of my forum

the timestamp will still be viewable if i click the link to the last post + actually load it and look

please;  which file must i edit to change this in the php source?
