Any known exploits of SMF v1.1.x still? Would be using 2.0< be ideal? I am curious as to what version I should stick with either v1.1.19 or move to 2.x?

You should move to the latest version of SMF 2 which runs on the latest version of PHP as running a lower version of PHP makes you vulnerable.

Yes, there are known issues in 1.1 that can be exploited, especially if your host moves the install on without telling you.

Don't use 1.1, it hasn't had updates in years now.

Move a.s.a.p. to 2.0.17. It is very secure and much much better than 1.1x branch.

Mick.

Like everyone said but on a lighter side of things... I miss 1.1. It was my go-to back in the day lol

There is nothing in 1.1 that you can't get in 2.0 out of the box.

kilk, simply 1.1 is EOL, its outdated and not as agile compared to 2.0:

Simply soon you wont get support for 1.1, the first ever release was 15 years ago, so best advice is update to 2.0
