Permissions in maintenance mode
« on: June 29, 2020, 08:02:56 AM »
Hello,
Here, I have a V2 to install, as you know, it's a lot of work.
In terms of permissions.
I would like to know, if in maintenance mode, how to make my staff can come and help me, each at his own level, without the non-staff members being able to come and without giving the rank of administrator to all my staff.
I hope I expressed myself well, if not, don't hesitate to ask me questions ;)

that would have been nice, but it's not compatible with 2.0.17.

Almost all mods are actually compatible. See: How can I install a mod that doesn't work in my SMF version?

I don't recall much of the code that this mod was based on changing since it was originally written, but it's been a long time since I originally wrote it.
Please don’t PM me for paid work, I’m not for hire, and even if I was, I doubt you could afford me.

Did you actually try it?

It was marked compatible up to 2.0.15 so I hadn't tried it.
But since you think it might work, I'm trying...

No problem with the installation.
But the simple portal blocks are not displayed for those who are not part of the administrators.
Too bad :(
Otherwise maybe I forgot to check or uncheck a box.... but which one?

It wasn't built to cope with SimplePortal as well, only the core.
