« on: July 29, 2020, 08:18:26 AM »
How can I get SMF to detect memcache?

I installed memcached and php-memcache

Code: [Select]
# whereis memcached
memcached: /usr/bin/memcached /etc/memcached.conf /usr/include/memcached /usr/share/memcached /usr/share/man/man1/memcached.1.gz

Code: [Select]
# systemctl status memcached
* memcached.service - memcached daemon
   Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/memcached.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled)
   Active: active (running) since Wed 2020-07-29 04:53:12 PDT; 31s ago
 Main PID: 31640 (memcached)
   CGroup: /system.slice/memcached.service
           `-31640 /usr/bin/memcached -m 256 -p 11211 -u memcache -l 127.0.0.1

Looks like you have memcached in PHP but not the legacy memcache connector. Need to use the legacy one for 2.0 (2.1 supports both)
Please don’t PM me for paid work, I’m not for hire, and even if I was, I doubt you could afford me.
USD$150 per hour. Typical waiting list 3 months.
