My line of reasoning ... updating something that is working is better than changing the rule!
If it's working ... it's in PHP right!
RC3 will come out already!

gecitli is an experienced SMF'er.  He writes themes.  I suspect he is updating a dev environment so he can keep themes current, or test them, etc.  See if an upcoming SMF change broke something of his.

It is good for him to be a bit ahead of the curve & stay on the latest 2.1.

So...  I'll help him get to the bottom of his issue.

And I have *no idea* what this current issue is...  Pretty confusing.  I am interested in understanding this one at this point...

I understand that he is an "experienced" user, but sometimes "experience" leads to pitfalls!
What is good I use. It is not good for me to ignore!
I know your page doesn't work. And I do not like this!

I also don't know the error. But if it happened to me and I decided it that way.
I try to help because not everyone is experienced!
Feel free!
This is one of the "mistakes" of the assistance ... 90% of users are not experienced! ONLY ACCOMPANY (regardless of language)

Now that I've seen this: (I haven't used 2.0)
I upgrade from 2.0. (afraid to lose something)

I realized! Lay people do not know!
So we have to be more humble!
But you are not wrong ...
Do not get the attention of others on a topic.
This is impolite!
Talk to me in person!

This does not make much sense to me. Who is getting the attention of others as you put it? And who is being impolite to you here for crying out loud? All they are trying to do is help you. Is that being impolite lol?

Everything is cause for silly discussions! (and off topic)
You only read the part that interested you!
This is no ordinary help ...
It reports an error in the "installer" or the server. I reported what happened to me and went back to normal doing nothing. (I changed the browser) That's it!
Aid should be directed at those who ask. The person reads and draws his conclusions and does what he thinks is best! (or not)

Didn't he open a topic?
Why is my name mentioned? Did I commit any crime?
It looks like: Be quiet!
(All they're trying to do is help you.)
Help is for gecitli.
But never mind ... Good afternoon!

To be fair you are in his thread, if you have a problem you should make your own thread, especially as you don't seem to be upgrading from 2.1 RC2 to RC3...

If it persists. Only one report ...
It happened to me twice ... I clicked "try again" and it was. The other time, I "restart" the update and it was!
Any quota error or slow hosting ??
Do not know!

Repeating that I didn't ask for help ... I just tried to help by reporting an error I had (last year)
And only that!

Hello, excuse me, I have to work on weekdays because I replied late. I cannot look at the site. I will be interested in the weekend.

Hello, I think I solved the problem by updating the database in local. There is a problem with the Turkish language files.
