Is it possible to fix a header on top of the forum?

Hey all, the newbie is here for a Question - Is there ways to fix a header bar to the top of the Forum?
I would think yes - any examples out there to show and maybe some help where to get some teaching on it It really should not be that difficult, but I'm me and new is new and I'm blank where to start.

You mean fixed as in always there, while other page content scrolls beneath it? Sure. All you have to do is set it to position: fixed; in the CSS. It does what it says on the tin.

That's the standard menu, hauled out of its usual location and pinned to the top of the screen by CSS. You could do much the same thing with 2.1.

What about a foreign Header inserted? Or maybe I can fix or theme that menu and maybe put in my menu in the menu in SMF. I have this Menu on my webpage that is mobile friendly although it needs more work, but it is functional although have more ideas and fixes that I need to look into. But lots of things to do, and I'm really, really slow at things as I'm really not a coder. But trying and time makes something

I'll have to think about, and look into how to do the implantiation. Fixed at the top yes, If I can put my own menu into that bar like you have it on top in the image, that might do it, and then theme it black and orange as the rest of my own website. And then of cause it have to be mobile friendly as well.

I'll have to figure out something. The problem is I have the ideas, but not the know how or in regards of what is possible.

mobile sites should NEVER have a fixed menu/header bar....    the only thing that should possibly be "fixed" in a mobile display is the hamburger menu icon.

Kindred The Bar has the Hamburger in it, and surely it should be sticky at the top
My website has the bar at the top, although far from done it is works - but I wanna have that menu at the top somehow for easy access for everything on the site. Joined with SMF in some way or the other.

no, I am saying, on a mobile ONLY the hamburger should stay fixed/float

if you have the whole bar fixed, then you are taking up valuable screen space.
