forum backup

Sorry to ask this as Im sure its been asked already but ihave searched and cant find the "Idiots" guide.

Im running SMF version 1.0.5 and want to backup th eforum to move it to another host, but have no idea how to do it.

I have gone into Administration Centre > Forum Maintenance and selected Save table structure & Save the data, then selected to compress it. When i download it its about 1.6mb in size.  Now if this is correct how do i restore it into a newly created SMF forum?

Probably dumb questions that have been asked a thousand times - but please humour this idiot.

in phpAdmin, there is an SQL function...   run that and select the file that you previously downloaded...
